I am embarassed to admit that I was one of the crazy people in line at midnight Saturday to get one of the first copies of the Twilight New Moon dvd. In my defense, my 16 year old daughter (pictured) is a die-hard fan, so I was really just the chaperone/chauffer. When she was younger we used to stand in line at midnight for Harry Potter book releases, so we've become quite the professional midnight shoppers.
I am happy to announce that after one hour of standing, listening to people complain about everything from the line to the fact that they didn't offer refreshments and running in to everyone from my daughter's youth pastor to one of her teachers, we became the proud owners of the special fan edition of Twilight New Moon and bonus cd.
Then we got home and our dvd player broke. Guess what I did on Sunday?
